Apart from the unique design of the camera module, 120Hz OLED screen and all-day battery life, the Huawei P50 Pro is another premium offering of Huawei hardware. If you can use Huawei's Mobile Services instead of Google's, then this is the phone you should get.

The P50 Pocket runs on the Snapdragon 888 without 5G support due to US sanctions preventing Huawei from developing its own chips (apparently buying 5G chips). That said, the SoC is still capable today, and everything else about this phone is top-notch: you have a 6.9-inch 120Hz OLED display, a camera with 40MP, f/1, 8, and a 13 MP Ultra Wide and a 32 MP "hyperspectral" camera for enhanced color profiles. The P50 Pocket is also equipped with the same XD Optics computational photography engine as the Huawei P50 Pro.

However, if you're buying an older Huawei phone that supports Google Mobile Services, or you can live without Google's app ecosystem, the phones listed here offer great hardware and photography for less than Apple's or Samsung's -product.

As the last device in the Huawei P-series to support Google services, the P30 Pro is known for having a great camera system, great battery life, and a great user interface. I want to upgrade from my P20 Pro and honestly couldn't find a better phone (for me). They are still around £600 new and around £350-500 used. The price appealed to me as a seller. Reading the reviews I was concerned, but noticed that the bad reviews are from older reviews, the recent reviews are good. So I ordered and saw that I might have to pay import duty! The phone was a day late, I believe because it was ready before it was finally shipped. It doesn't come in the original box, just the phone, charger and data cable. The phone was spotless, no stains, damage or anything like that. Described as "like new", it is! The charger is not a Huawei, it is a 40W adaptive charger with a UK plug. It works perfectly and is faster than my p20 pro. My only annoyance is that the standard charging cable is included, so fast charging rates aren't possible. I swapped it out for a higher capacity cable and it was fine. So no Italian brands, no foreign chargers, dual SIMs. There are no import fees. Ignoring past criticism, the November 21st phone is fantastic.
