Update June 2020: More than a year after its release, the Huawei P30 Pro is still an attractive option if you're looking for a phone with a great camera. Released in March 2019, the Huawei P30 Pro is an innovative flagship smartphone. It has powerful internal hardware, led by Huawei's custom Kirin 980 SoC, blazing fast 40W charging (still competitive today) and excellent battery life. It also brought the periscope zoom camera system into the mainstream.
After using the Huawei P30 Pro for a while in 2021, it's honestly one of the best vintage flagship phones you can still buy today in terms of hardware. It's all thanks to impressive design and build quality, solid performance, great battery life and great camera performance. At just over £400 new or £250 (about $350-$550) in the UK, the new P30 Pro is a bargain, at least on paper.

This phone is great, but I bought it through a seller called Divine India. Bought in November 2020, the phone died last week in March 2021. I took it to the service center and they diagnosed the motherboard problem The phone was bought in Hong Kong and not under warranty. Although the Amazon India invoice is shown. The motherboard sells for 30,000/- (half the price of the phone). I raised this question with Amazon and will edit the review step by step.

I used an Aurora model (VOG-L29) with 256GB of RAM and firmware version 9.1.0.124. The phone received an update during the review period with improved camera and fingerprint sensor performance. All my impressions of these two features are based on the latest firmware.
